Culinary and Hospitality Excellency Forum (CHEF)

The hospitality Industry is the largest and fastest-growing line of business in the world. As this industry fills out the space rapidly and effectively so there is much more to explore and experience. We undergo the difficulties of Hospitality professionals, no forum is available to shield, exchange views and focus on it. 

Here, CHEF is providing us a platform where we can discuss, and share views, professional development, and improvement in skills and abilities networking with other chefs, and certifications. 

Who we are?

We are a community and rostrum for chefs and hospitality professionals in every aspect of their perspectives where their culture, norms, background, values, and status look towards finer and flourish hereafter for their selves not only for the betterment of the future, to build relationships between national and international professionals.

Aim & Objectives

To provide a platform in the professional lives of Pakistani chefs and hospitality industrialists through higher education, strengthen and make headway in training, apprenticeships, and certifications to develop a fraternal bond of praise, honor, and trustworthiness between domestic and international professionals.

Membership

To robust monitoring of educational techniques, career training sessions, professional grooming, authentic and relevant strategy to build and polish chefs as well as hospitality competent.

After having memberships, associates are able to avail of multiple services and help enhance the art and efficiency of work. Raise voices for professional rights and ethical justice, free training and guidance sessions, attend to get knowledge and apprehension from seminars as well, initiation and introduction of international standards, discussion and exchange of information, detain and not only hold national competitions among institutes and top-notch but also can participate in international competitions.

We are dealing with the issues of hospitality professionals, and there is no platform available to shield, exchange ideas, and focus on them. The Culinary and Hospitality Excellence Forum (CHEF) is an initiative designed to draw attention to, evaluate, and discuss matters of relevance to chefs and hospitality professionals. In short, CHEF aims to provide a place for discussion, sharing opinions, professional growth, networking, and certification. Your membership will give you access to in-depth analysis of educational practices, career development workshops, opportunities to sharpen your professional appearance and a tried-and-true method for fostering the next generation of accomplished chefs and hospitality competent. The CHEF’s services revolve around its primary goal of helping its members become more knowledgeable in their fields by providing them with regular access to educational resources like classes, exercises, seminars, and even competitions.

Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP)

In Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), we provide integrated packages of support to our youth to start sustainable businesses which create jobs and innovations.

What we do

We listen, we plan and then we help get you started on the journey.

We enable our youth to create enterprises that can create jobs, and bring innovations and new trading opportunities to other businesses in the hospitality sector. 

  • Interactive and supportive workshops along with field assignments. 
  • Help individuals develop their business idea into actionable plans. 
  • Coaching and mentoring are reasonable salaries provided during the critical start-up phase. 
  • Qualified participants receive and proportion of the profit. 
  • Deserving students also receive financial assistance.

YEP (Youth Entrepreneurship Program) provides you with full-time training and mentoring to develop your own hospitality business which is led by a team leader who is an experienced self-employment professional. 

While in the program you will develop a comprehensive business plan under the supervision of an experienced entrepreneur and then launch your business under the name of Knead Mobile Café which is part of the Skills Valley network. 

Technical Training

Young entrepreneurs need support with every stage of their business development from industry training to advance levels of business and financial management. YEP, members work with young entrepreneurs to ensure that they all have the technical support they need to succeed.

Financial support

YEP provides young deserving entrepreneurs with an interest free/ loan to cover the expenses of starting or growing their business.

Mentoring

YEP, pairs all young entrepreneurs with an experienced business mentor who is on hand to guide them through the challenging early stages of establishing a business.

How we work as a network

Our students who are interested in business can be YEP members through Skills Valley’s platform. 

A network team coordinates and leads this activity with additional responsibilities for driving network growth, quality, and performance. 

  • We engage, analyze and act and then deliver to a customer.
  • We strengthen you by collaborating expertise around the network by working on national advocacy campaigns and developing partnerships with social investors or supporters.
  • Our members exchange resources and act collectively to increase the efficiency and scale of support to young people seeking to start their own businesses.

Why we do it

We do it for the young generation to thrive and fulfill their potential to the benefit of their better future.

We focus on young people between the ages of 18-35 because young people frequently lack the resources to start up their own businesses. Young people already make up 65% of Pakistan’s total population and are almost three times as likely to be unemployed as adults.

Small businesses are the engine of economic development in nearly every country in the world. The vast majority of jobs are created by small businesses. We enable young aspiring entrepreneurs to create enterprises that can create jobs, bring innovative new products or services to communities, and bring trading opportunities to other businesses.

The goal of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is to help young people to launch successful, long-term businesses that will generate new opportunities for work and novel methods of operation. Members of the YEP collaborate with young business owners to provide the necessary technical assistance for their ventures to flourish. Students with a passion for the business have the opportunity to join YEP through the Skills Valley Platform.  This activity is coordinated and led by a network team, which is also responsible for advancing the performance, quality, and expansion of the system. In this way, we help budding business owners launch companies that provide meaningful employment, introduce exciting new goods and services to local markets, and open doors for partnerships with established firms.

Knead Mobile Café

BE YOUR OWN BOSS

KNEAD Mobile Café is an initiative taken by Skills Valley to provide an opportunity for deserving students to start their own businesses. KNEAD Mobile Cafe is introduced first time in Karachi with a motive to bring fresh, hygienic, and quality standard food to the public. Build on food-grade stainless steel SS304, KNEAD Mobile Café is a fully equipped food van specializing in delivering freshly cooked burgers, salads, beverages, and different other food items conveniently to workplaces and events. Through the utilization of technology and a desire to provide a simple, cost-efficient system we can deliver a high-quality product. 

Skills Valley has launched KNEAD Mobile Café to help worthy students launch their businesses. KNEAD Mobile Café is the first of its kind in Karachi, to provide the local public with healthy, freshly prepared meals. KNEAD Mobile Café is a fully-equipped food van that specializes in bringing freshly cooked burgers, salads, beverages, and other food products to workplaces and gatherings. We can create a high-quality product because of the use of technology and a desire to offer a straightforward, economical system.

Knead Bakers

KNEAD BakerS provides all daily accessories for cooking and baking purposes to students. Students can buy culinary utensils and baking ingredients from KNEAD Bakery. It also provides cakes, baked biscuits, confectionary items, pastries and sweets, and basic grocery items.

KNEAD Bakery is a store on campus where students can purchase cooking gear and baking supplies. In addition to the usual grocery stuff, it offers baked goods such as cakes, biscuits, confections, pastries, and desserts.

Knead Cafe

KNEAD Café is first of its kind hill-view café in Karachi which offers a wonderfully intimate atmosphere ideal for special events, birthday parties, and private parties. You can enjoy fine dining and warm hospitality in a peaceful atmosphere. Knead Roof Top Café serves breakfast every Sunday from 09:00 A.M. – 02:00 P.M. Our menu changes every six to eight weeks, offering a mix of new and signature dishes.

The KNEAD Café is Karachi’s first hill view café, and it’s perfect for intimate gatherings like birthday parties, wedding receptions, and other celebrations.   On Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Knead Roof Top Café is open for breakfast. Every six to eight weeks, our menu is updated to include both new items and classic favorites.
